Zanat 'piano' Table, Medium, Black On Black

Created by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba of Palomba Serafini Associati for Bosnian brand Zanat, the design brief presented for the 'Piano' series was straightforward — a collection of simple, lightweight and multifunctional coffee and side tables. The end result, however, belies the easy brief, with the final series seamlessly bringing together expert craftsmanship, a skilled use of high quality materials and a distinct 'wow' factor. Featuring a number of cogwheel carving patterns around its edges, this medium-sized 'Piano' table is reminiscent of piano keys when viewed from above — hence the name of the collection. Cut from black-stained maple wood and propped by hand-welded steel rods with a black powder coat finish, the table makes for a suitable companion to almost any seating in both residential and public settings.
